Background and Experience

​

Mr. Witucki joined Gutke Law Group to provide effective, creative, and efficient legal services to his clients.

 

Mr. Witucki recently served as a partner in a Las Vegas law firm and as general counsel for the Clark County Department of Aviation (CCDOA).  As general counsel, Mr. Witucki provided comprehensive legal services to the CCDOA’s four general aviation airports as well as to one of the nation’s busiest airports, McCarran International Airport.

In addition to his general counsel experience, Mr. Witucki represents a diverse range of clients in matters involving various areas of the law, including real estate and commercial litigation, aviation and airport law, eminent domain litigation, right-of-way acquisition, government relations, administrative proceedings, complex Chapter 11 reorganization and liquidation proceedings, prepackaged and pre-negotiated restructurings, real estate finance, real estate acquisitions, and commercial transactions.  Mr. Witucki also holds an M.B.A. degree, and he frequently utilizes his business background to advise both his legal and non-legal clients concerning a variety of business matters.

Mr. Witucki previously served as counsel for the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) through his position as a Deputy Attorney General with the Nevada Attorney General’s Office.  In that capacity, he provided NDOT with a variety of services across a wide range of disciplines, including everything from business and operational advice—to project implementation and administration—to complex eminent domain litigation.

Mr. Witucki began his legal career in the Business Restructuring & Bankruptcy Department of a large Las Vegas law firm.  Mr. Witucki has represented debtors, secured creditors, trustees, and purchasers in all aspects of corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency proceedings.

 

While attending law school, Mr. Witucki served as a legal extern for United States Senator Harry Reid and for Judge Philip M. Pro, United States District Court, District of Nevada.
